Arkaruga

Arkaruga is a reality-bending twist on the classic brick breaker genre. (Or a bold-faced mash-up of Arkanoid and Ikaruga, if you prefer.) It’s an arcade-style score attack game where you must shatter as many bricks as you can before you lose all of your lives. However, the bricks exist on two separate planes of reality that you can toggle between at will, allowing for some high skill plays that would not be possible in classic Arkanoid.
I built Arkaruga as a way to learn Godot. It was made for the Eggplant 50 game jam, organized by fans of the podcast Eggplant: The Secret Lives of Games.
You can play Arkaruga online on itch.io.
